Lenny is the Board chairman of the Saracen Marketing Group comprising 5 companies operating across East Africa. The companies are leading players in the marketing and advertising segments, plus a Data and Analytics firm that underpins the group’s belief in data driven excellence.

 

Lenny co-founded the Saracen Marketing Group in 2002, and prior to taking his entrepreneurial leap of faith, He worked for global advertising agencies Ogilvy and Mather and McCann Erickson, where he created and executed campaigns across Sub-Saharan Africa.

 

Lenny was elected CEO of the group in 2004 as a “Primus Interpares” a position he held until November 2025 when he and his partners appointed a successor CEO, and he moved into the Board, where he now provides strategic guidance for the group and training for the leadership of the company.

Lenny has also served the marketing and advertising industry as Vice Chairman, then Chairman of the Association of Practitioners in Advertising, and also served as Trustee and Head of the technical oversight committee of the Kenya Audience Research Foundation (KARF).


Lenny enjoys Golf, meditation, and wildlife safaris to unwind and appreciate the beauty of life.
