Ndirangu is the Managing Director of Consumer Insight Africa, which owns Consumer Insight (www.ciafrica.com), a market research company, Gap Marketing (www.gap- marketing.com), a trade marketing firm and VoicesAfrica (www.voices.africa), an online research panel management company.
In 1998 he founded Consumer Insight. Before that he was an adman for 10 years, starting with Saatchi & Saatchi and ending at McCann-Erickson, where he was the Deputy Managing Director for Kenya and Strategic Planning Director for Africa.
Consumer Insight is now a leading African market research company, with an African- wide network of affiliates. The company specialises in understanding the drivers of consumer behaviour.
Gap Marketing, established in 1993, is the oldest trade marketing agency in Kenya, and focusses on outsourced retail sales management services, a concept it pioneered in East Africa.

Voices Africa, formed in 2011, is among the first online research panels in Africa, with over 350,000 members, mainly in Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa.
Ndirangu is a Commonwealth Association for Corporate Governance Certified Trainer, and is a recipient of both Marketing Society of Kenya Warrior and the H.K. McCann Leadership Awards. He has served on the Marketing Society of Kenya Council, the Kenya College of Accountancy Board and HIV-Free Generation (Kenya) Board.

Ndirangu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Delhi University, India and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from United States International University - Africa.
